How should I wrap a Antique Lamp to ship?

Any suggestions on how to ship two Antigua lamps to mail.They have the big glass globes on them.I want to wrap them very well so they don,t get broken.Thank for your help.

augh. They take no care on things whether it says “fragile” or not. (As I’m assuming you know sense your asking) I cringe at the idea of antiques in the hands of uncaring delivery people.

line the box with the foam stuff that’s like the same stuff as mattress toppers. like large pieces. that way the walls of the box are automatically softer. next put in packing peanuts. that way stuff can move without moving too much or too forcefully. if you can put something on the inside of the globes (probably sounds dumb in theres no opening, but on the chance that there is I’ll give you this advice) put in some soft cloth like a towel or something. also put that through any random curves or anything. that way theres not pressure only on the outside. wrap the whole thing in bubble wrap. With all these different methods combined they should be safe.

Put on a “fragile” sticker if you like but only after reading what happened to my grandma…

she put a fragile sticker on and went in and reminded them that it was fragile. dude said “wanna know what we do with fragile items” and he picked it up and threw to the ground.
