Online Poker Play at Multiple Tables
You can play poker online at multiple tables in many different ways. You can play two different poker tables of the same online poker site at the same time. Many poker sites allow this, but there are a few exceptions. It’s also possible to play one poker table at two different online poker sites.
Some online poker rooms are very difficult to play while playing a game at different poker site. For example, Poker Stars software often dominates the gaming software of other poker site by automatically popping up the Poker Stars table while it’s your turn to act.
It can be very confusing when you try to play a hand at another poker site. For example, it’s very difficult to play at Poker Stars and Full Tilt Poker simultaneously. At Pacific Poker, you need to click on your cards in order to see them. This requires more action from your side to play the game, thus making it more difficult to commute between the two sites.
From a technical viewpoint, there are two ways to play two tables concurrently on your
computer screen. Most players just join two different poker tables and then commute between the two tables. Another way is to reduce the screen size for each table, so that you can see both tables on the screen together. For this, you just need to right click on your desktop and choose properties => settings, and finally adjust the screen area. You must increase the pixels to reduce the size of each table. If your eyesight is weak, think twice! The screens will be very small.
Also, some older computer screens may be unable to run changes in pixels; hence you should only try this with latest computer monitors.
If the small screens are not an issue for you, then this technique has some advantages as
you can commute better at both tables. You can also play three or more tables simultaneously; although, you should not try this. It requires sharp concentration that makes you prone to make errors. If you are playing at three different poker sites, then it is easier to play one or two games at a poker room with slow software, and then the third game with fast software. Many poker sites let you to play three tables together, but this can be quite confusing at times
